The American art of burlesque focuses on the glamour of striptease and showgirls, whereas Br itish burlesque tends to be more parody, pastiche, bawdy, comical and end-of the pier. With a huge resurgence of burlesque across the globe, this vibrant and thrilling art form is back for good and drawing massive audiences.

Yoga

The word yoga means "union" in Sanskrit, the language of ancient India where yoga originated. We can think of the union occurring between the mind, body and spirit.

What is commonly referred to as "yoga" can be more accurately described by the Sanskrit word asana, which refers to the practice of physical postures or poses.

Asana is only one of the eight "limbs" of yoga, the majority of which are more concerned with mental and spiritual well being than physical activity. In the West, however, the words asana and yoga are often used interchangeably. Yoga is a peaceful exercise that will train your mind and body and keep you fit and supple.

Ballet

Ballet is a formalised kind of performance dance, which originated in the Italian Renaissance courts of the 15th century, and which was further developed in France, England, and Russia as a concert dance form. The early portions preceded the invention of the prosceniumstage and were presented in large chambers with most of the audience seated on tiers or galleries on three sides of the dancing floor. It has since become a highly technical form of dance with its own vocabulary. It is primarily performed with the accompaniment of classical music. Fever Now Offers Ballet Classes to Everyone with Fully qualified teachers and exams.

Tap

Tap dance is a form of dance characterized by a tapping sound that is created from metal plates that are attached to both the ball and heel of the dancer's shoe. These metal plates, when tapped against a hard surface, create a percussive sound and as such the dancers are considered to be musicians.
