Tickets are now ready to collect from reception. Please make sure these are secured to your wrist before you arrive at the venue. No replacements will be issued for lost or forgotten wristbands, you will have to re-purchase at the door.

Limited number of tickets will be available on the door at £25.00

Please note that it will be the Victoria Street entrance (opposite Bella Italia) that will be used on the day of the competition (this is different to the usual entrance that we use at this venue)

SECTION 1

Jets – 7 & under squad
Storm – 9 & under squad
11 & under Set dance, Freestyle & Duo’s

This section is for all dancers aged 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11.

  • Doors open: 8:00am
  • Team(s) First round: 8.30am
    – 5 years & under beginners (2 teams)
    7 years & under beginners (4 teams) – JETS
    – 9 years & under beginners (5 teams) – STORM
    – 11 years & under beginners (4 teams)
    – 9 years & under intermediates (2 teams)
    – 11 years & under intermediates (2 teams)
  • Followed by team presentation
  • Arrival time for dancers not on Jets & Storm: 8:30am
  • Set routine First round (for ages 11 & under): 9:30am
  • Followed by set routine presentation after each final
  • Set routine spotlight – All finalist of this section (for ages 11 & under): 11:15am
  • Freestyle First round (for ages 11 & under): 11:30am
  • Followed by freestyle presentation
  • Freestyle spotlight – All finalist of this section (for ages 11 & under): 1:15pm
  • Duo’s First round (for ages 11 & under): 1:25pm
    (those doing duo’s will need a new number)
  • Followed by Duo’s presentation.
  • Finish for those who are not on Salute 2:30pm

 

SECTION 2

Salute – 13 & under squad
12 & over Set dance, Freestyle & Duo’s

This section is for all dancers aged 12 & over.

  • Arrival time for those who haven’t done solos in section 1: 1:30pm
  • Team(s) First round: 2:30pm
    13 years & under beginners (4 teams) – SALUTE

    15 years & under beginners (1 team)
    16 years & over beginners (2 teams)
    13 years & under intermediates (3 teams)
    15 years & under intermediates (3 teams)
    16 years & over intermediates (6 teams)
    16 years & over advanced (2 teams)
    Parents (2 teams)
  • Followed by team presentation
  • Set routine First round (for ages 12 & over): 4:00pm
  • Followed by set routine presentation
  • Set routine spotlight – All finalist of this section (for ages 12 & over): 5:30pm
  • Freestyle First round: 5:45pm
  • Followed by freestyle presentation
  • Freestyle spotlight – All finalist of this section (for ages 12 & over): 7:15pm
  • Duo’s First round: 7:30pm

Checklist/outfit list for the day of the competition

Jets – Thursday 4:30pm 7 & under team

  • Denim dungarees girls
  • Denim jeans boys
  • Plain white crew neck t-shirt
  • Colourful bow
  • White trainers & White roll top ankle socks

Storm – Thursday 4:30pm 9 & under team

  • Blue cargo trousers
  • Plain black long sleeve crew neck top
  • Blue hair bandanna
  • Black trainers & Black socks

Salute – Thursday 5:15pm

  • Gold Sequin Top
  • Black Cycling shorts
  • Black Trainers & Socks that come with your top

Solo Dancers

  • All dancers will be doing a set dance & freestyle at the competition and you can wear anything, coloured t-shirts with shorts/leggings or tracksuit bottoms is a popular choice. This does not have to be fever uniform. Please see your teacher if you are unsure on what to wear.

All teams to have a high ponytail, with plenty of gel and hairspray

Other info

  • Please check in with Jillian when you arrive and check out when you leave as we have to now log all timings.
  • Please remember to pack safety pins.
  • For Street competitions you may arrive in your team uniform. If you decided not to please arrive in your Fever Travel Uniform.
  • All competitors and spectators need a ticket (wristband) to enter the ballroom. There will be no replacements for lost/forgotten wristbands. Please make sure these are fastened on your wrists before you arrive at the door.
  • Fever will be sat in one area of the ballroom, please find your teachers and a seat in that area when you arrive.
  • Recalls will be done via the microphone once and your teachers will also be sent the numbers of those being recalled. Please listen carefully to the numbers being recalled and if unsure ask a teacher. We understand children will need the toilet but try and avoid taking them around the recall time.
  • For Street competitions you may take your foam finger that was your Pride of Fever present.
