Pride of Fever 2024
Saturday 22nd June – Blackpool Tower Ballroom
A little recap of information about the show…
It’s that time of year again, Pride of Fever plans are starting, extra early as it is an extra special one this year! This is our whole school Summer show and we are returning to the wonderful Blackpool Tower Ballroom, on Saturday 22nd June!
What is Pride of Fever?
Pride of Fever is our whole school show, that ALL children and competitive adults are invited to be involved in. All children age 2+ are able to take part, whether you are a complete beginner or in one of our many teams.
This is an evening show starting at 6:30pm. Our younger years children are still able to take part in this show if you want them to, and will spend majority of their time in the audience with their families.
Final timings for the whole day will be sent out next week.
Group dance
All dancers, excluding Pre Primary & Primary Ballet, Mini Mix & Mover, will also be involved in something called a group dance. They will also learn these in their classes and are required to attend an extra practice on Monday 17th June at Highfield Priory School.

- Sparkles – Tuesday 4:30pm Cheer
- Flames – Tuesday 5:15pm Cheer
- Firecrackers – Tuesday 6:00pm Cheer
- Fireflies – Wednesday 6:30pm Cheer
- Flyers – Thursday 6:00pm Cheer (that arent latin dancers)
- All Juvenile Formation – Tangled, Frozen, MP, Pitch Perfect, Happy Feet
- Latin Classes – Saturday 11:15am & 1:15pm
- Thursday Street – 4:30pm & 5:15pm
- Saturday Cheer – 10:45am
- Saturday Street – 11:15am
- Saturday Acro – 11:45am & 12:30pm

What outfits & hair styles will be needed?
All dancers will need to arrive with their hair in a centre parting, low back bun. Those who cannot get their hair in bun, please tie up neatly. This should be done with a bun net, hairspray, and gel.
All dancers need to make sure they have black leggings/shorts/joggers/fever leggings packed if they aren’t travelling in them. This does not apply to any YOUNGER YEARS.
Ballet
- 9:00am Pre-Primary 2-4 years
Light Pink Fever Ballet uniform with ballet shoes and socks/tights. - 9:00am Primary 5-6 years
Rose Fever Ballet uniform with ballet shoes and socks/tights. - 10:45am Primary Plus
Rose Fever Ballet uniform with ballet shoes and socks/tights. - Boys
Black fever performance t-shirt and plain Black bottoms
Mini Mix/Movers
- 9:30am Mini Mix 2-4 years
Light Pink Fever Ballet uniform with ballet shoes or trainers and socks/tights. - 9:30am Movers 5-6 years
Rose Fever Ballet uniform with ballet shoes or trainers and socks/tights. - Boys
Black fever performance t-shirt and plain Black bottom
Cheerleading Teams – Sparkles, Flames, Firecrackers, Fireflies, Flyers.
- Full cheerleading outfit, leg warmers/socks, black trainers, red bows, and pom poms
For those who started cheerleading teams after the competition in march, we will organise you an outfit to use for the show.
Solo Cheerleading Classes (Saturday 10:45am)
- Black Fever performance t-shirt and leggings/black bottoms with black trainers/pumps. We will provide pom poms to borrow.
Street Dance Teams – Jets, Storm, Salute
- Full competition outfits from April.
Jets – Dungarees, t-shirt, bow & trainers
Storm – Cargos, long sleeve top, bandana & trainers
Salute – Gold top, cycling shorts, socks & trainers
Solo Street Classes (Saturday 11:15am) & Thursday dancers who started after the competition.
- Black Fever performance t-shirt and leggings/black bottoms with black trainers/pumps.
Acro/Lyrical (Saturday 11:45am & 12:30pm)
- Fever Crop Top & Shorts, Crop Top & Girls Leggings, Vest Top & Shorts, Vest Top & Girls Leggings – Any combination
- Boys – Black performance t-shirt and plain black bottoms
Latin Classes (Saturday 11:15am & 1:15pm)
- Fever Red Leotard & Skirt with latin shoes
- Boys – Black performance t-shirt and plain black bottoms (formation trousers/black school trousers if possible) with latin shoes or plain black trainers
- This is only for the Tangled team, 6 & under beginners and 12 & under beginners who don’t do formation. All other formation dancers will not be in this act.
All Nations
- Competition outfits (only 1 ballroom or latin)
Juvenile and Junior Formation
- Tangled, Frozen, Mary Poppins, Pitch Perfect Happy Feet; Full competition wear, including shoes & white socks
- Six, Alice & Hairspray; Full competition wear, including shoes
(Outfits will be brought on the day along with accessories, as per competitions.)

What do dancers wear for group dance?
- Group Dance 1
Anything red; dress, t-shirt, leggings, trainers, socks, tights. - Group Dance 2
Girls – Rock n Roll skirts that you already have, with white t-shirt, white shorts, white socks & white trainers/pumps.
Leads – denim jeans, with white t-shirt, white socks & white trainers/pumps
Please ensure that all outfits, accessories, pom poms are CLEARLY NAMED! We will not be held responsible for any items that go missing.
