OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Event Order: Solo sections will run odds first, then evens in the opening rounds. Please have dancers ready and waiting by the floor when called.
  • Recalls: We’re aiming not to announce recalls over the mic (unless absolutely necessary)- this saves a lot of time and allows us to do more recalls on the day.
  • Photos After Finals: Presentations will still go ahead as normal. To help us stay on time, we ask spectators to remain seated and to take photos from their seat. We’ll also have a designated photo area/ balloon display where dancers can get pictures with their trophies after their event and take their time to celebrate their success.
  • Neil Judging – Neil Jones from Strictly Come Dancing will be judging at this event. To help the day run smoothly, please ensure that no one approaches Neil for autographs or photos during the competition.
They team at all nations are working to a tight schedule, and it wouldn’t be fair to Neil or the dancers in upcoming sections if he’s stopped throughout the day-  including during his breaks.

  • Parking: The venue does have a large onsite car park.
    • On weekends, there is a free 3-hour parking period however a ticket must still be displayed from the machine.
    • Tickets must be displayed at all times.
    • After the free 3-hour period, a valid ticket must be purchased and displayed.
    • The parking machine accepts both cash and card payments

  • Changing Facilities – Dancers are strictly not permitted to change in the ballroom or the corridors unless they are wearing a base layer (leotard, shorts, or crop top). If anyone needs to change during their time with us, both male and female changing rooms will be clearly signposted in the Ballroom. Dancers of school age or younger must be accompanied by an adult or a chaperone while changing. Please ask a member of the  team if you are unsure where these are located.
Changing facilities are available and signposted at the back of the hall. For safeguarding reasons, participants up to school-leaving age must be accompanied by a responsible adult into the changing area. It is strictly prohibited to take photos or videos in this area. Changing in public areas is not permitted at our events and our staff will monitor this throughout the day.
  • The venue allows people to bring their own packed lunches inside. Hot takeaway food is not permitted to be brought inside unless it has been purchased inside the venue.
There is a large selection of hot and cold food & drinks available at the venue.
