YOUNGER YEARS
Saturday 13th June – Blackpool Tower Ballroom
We hope you are all looking forward to our whole school show this year! Our dancers are all very excited to showcase all their talents to their family & friends.
Prep for the show!
As noted on the original information page all show dances have been taught within your children weekly classes.
Any uniform that has been ordered will be ready to collect from reception on Saturday 6th June, along with any uncollected tickets.
Tickets will be on sale until Thursday 11th June, and available to collect on Saturday 13th June.
On the day of the show!
On the day of the show our younger years – Pre Primary, Primary Ballet & Mini Mix/Movers will have their class as normal at highfield in the morning.
What time and where should I drop my child off in the evening?
Your child should arrive with you at Blackpool Tower Ballroom, when doors open.
5:30pm – Table & VIP Tickets
6:00pm – Standard Tickets
When you are settled in the ballroom, please bring your child to stage right (as you look at it) and a member of staff will check them in.
Please bring them to us wearing their ballet/mini uniform, with ballet shoes or trainers on. Any drinks bottles, please make sure they are CLEARLY NAMED! We kindly ask you to keep any other belongings in the audience as they will return to you after they have danced to watch the rest of the show.
PLEASE DO NOT PASS THROUGH THE BACK STAGE DOORS UNLESS YOU ARE AUTHORISED TO DO SO.
How should my child have their hair?
All dancers to have a centre parting low back bun. If your child has short hair, and it won’t go into a bun, please make sure it is as neat as possible. Boys to have their hair neat.
What happens during the show?
Your child will stay with us until pick up point, which is just before the final performance of act 1. Stephen will announce on the microphone when they are ready to be collected from stage left (as you look at it). They can then sit with you to enjoy the second act.
If your child is still awake, and would like to take part in the finale, Stephen will announce when to bring them back to stage right.
What time does the show start?
