What time and where should I do when I drop my child off?

Your child should arrive with you to the winter gardens. The foyer doors will be open from 11:00am.

A member of staff will collect them from stage left as you look at the stage at 11:30am. No earlier please.

Please bring them to us wearing their ballet/mini uniform. If possible, please try to make your child uses the toilet before you bring them to us. We kindly ask you to keep all their other belongings including their christmas t-shirt & jingles bells for the finale as they will return to you at the interval.

How should my child have their hair?

All dancers to have a centre parting low back bun. This must stay in all day so plenty of gel, hair spray and bun pins. We do advise using a bun net as it will stay in much longer. Boys to have their hair neat.

If you cannot get your child’s hair in a bun, please make sure it is as neat as possible an off their face.

Items you will need to help with hair!

Cheap pot of gel, comb, bun net and bun pins/grips.

What should my child bring with them?

Nothing! We will provide water for them until they return to you.

What happens during the show?

Your child will stay with us until just before the interval. Stephen will announce on the microphone when they are ready to be collected from left side stage as you look at it.  They will then sit with you to enjoy the second act. If you are sat in the media gantry, tickets, you will NOT be able to take your child to your seats. There will be seats available round the ballroom, that are unreserved for you to use.

If your child is staying to join in with the finale please put their christmas t-shirt on them and send them back to the dance floor with their bells when Stephen announces it is time.

What time does the show start?

Doors open: 11:00am

Show starts: 12:00 noon

WE DO ALLOW VIDEOING OF YOUR OWN CHILD, BUT KINDLY ASK THAT NO VIDEOS ARE POSTED ON SOCIAL MEDIA!

WHEN THE SHOW IS FINISHED, NO PARENTS WILL BE ALLOWED INTO THE CHANGING ROOMS. PLEASE WAIT IN THE BALLROOM FOR YOUR CHILD TO BE BROUGHT TO THE DANCE FLOOR!
